Saipem Offshore Construction (SOC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Saipem S.p.A. SOC brings together all operational activities in Italy related to fabrication, technical services, maintenance, and logistics, providing essential support for the execution of offshore construction and offshore wind projects.
Purpose of the position: As Asset Equipment Production Engineer, you will respond to the PIPTEC Operation Manager and be part of the Offshore E&C; – Pipeline Technologies function.
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
- Technical leadership of some families of Pipe Lay Equipment (PLE)
- Definir the requirements of the PLE equipment in the technical supply specifications in line with the scope of work.
- Prepare technical bid evaluation for the selection of the PLE equipment.
- PLE Supplier interface both from technical and management point of view
- Management/allocation of some families of PLE
- Understand the projects need for assigned PLE and choose the best way to provide the proper equipment on time.
- Be active part of PLE strategy upgrade/investment allocation.
- Technical supervision of PLE integration with “correlated” machines
Participate actively at the Final Acceptance test of the PLE.
