**THE ROLE**
For our R&D; Department in our plant in Montecchio Maggiore (VI), with more than 800 employees, we are looking for a Department Assistant who provides assistance and coordination support to the organization in general for all R&D; initiatives connected with internal activities.
Must have the ability to work under pressure, demonstrate active listening and exhibit organizational skills.
This is a demanding and diverse role that includes a mix of administrative tasks, project coordination and creative work.
**Principal Responsibilities:**
+ **Collecting data** : assisting R&D; Leader in collecting and analyzing R&D; Project data and drafting reports (i.e. budget monitoring); collecting company data for survey ISTAT answering.
+ **Point of contact for orders and shipment activities:** supporting R&D; managers in issuing and opening new orders through the company ERP and managing requests to Shipment and/or Customer Service for the issuance of documents for sample shipments.
+ **Validity check of technical standards** for Montecchio Maggiore site and linked archive/register activities.
+ **Updating Data in the ERP** (i.e. code/revision of drawings or Instruction manuals) following ECN
+ **Requests for component and/or finished product withdrawals** for the Electronics Laboratory and inventory management at the relevant RDLAB location
+ **Organizing logistics** for other Xylem employees visiting Company (book meeting rooms, coffee break).

**Qualifications:**
+ High School Diploma as a minimum in Accounting/Economics
+ Previous experience in Assistant role is considered a plus
+ Ability to prioritize activity and planning
+ Fluent Italian
+ Fluent in English
+ High level of discretion and confidentiality
