It currently oversees several hotel units located in Vilamoura, Carvoeiro, Lagos, Albufeira and Madeira, as well as the largest golf portfolio in Portugal, including the golf courses in Vilamoura, PGA Aroeira Lisboa, Palmares and Vale Pisão. Internationally, DETAILS also manages two golf courses in Sicily, integrated within the Costa Ragusa destination. In addition, it is responsible for the management of the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre.brThebrGreenkeeper Assistantbrwill be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and controlling golf course maintenance activities, ensuring efficiency and quality in accordance with required playing conditions and established standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those described below, with strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.brKey Responsibilities:brPlan, organize,
and allocate daily work tasks and prepare staff schedules.brMonitor task execution to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met.brOperate specialized golf course machinery and equipment.brProvide technical and operational training and guidance to the maintenance team.brOversee the correct use of machinery, tools, and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance, conservation, and safety.brCollaborate with the Head Greenkeeper on strategic priorities and innovations.brReport and address breakdowns, repairs, equipment replacement needs, or improvements.brEnsure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.brPrepare activity logs and reports.brPerform operational tasks when necessary.brKey Qualifications:brProven experience in golf course or sports field maintenance.brExperience in supervisory or leadership roles within operational teams.brKnowledge and practice in operating and maintaining specialized golf course machinery.brTechniques for preparing and maintaining greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers.brKnowledge of irrigation systems and application of plant protection treatments.brAbility to organize logistics, tasks, and resource management.brLeadership and team motivation skills.brStrong communication and interpersonal skills.brOrganizational discipline and attention to detail.brProactive problem-solving abilities.brPhysical stamina and ability to work outdoors.brFlexibility for weekend and holiday shifts. xjncmbx brItalian fluency is a requirmentbrValid driver’s license.brLocation:brRagusabr
