This is a fully remote position, open to candidates based in Italy.

Pay: $30–$65/hr

Role Title: Voice Recorder (German + English)

We are engaging expert German bilingual speakers to contribute to a leading-edge audio project for a valued customer. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

1. Record yourself reading provided sentences in your native language (German) and in English, following specific project guidelines.
2. Listen to and annotate audio clips, providing precise transcriptions and feedback on pronunciation and clarity.
3. Create controlled background sounds (such as stationary car environment or office noise) as required by the assignment while ensuring all recordings are from a stationary location.
4. Label and organize audio files,



ensuring accurate metadata tagging and adherence to the platform’s submission standards.
5. Participate in ongoing speech data collection initiatives, supporting the development, training, and evaluation of AI speech and language systems.
6. Comply with project requirements regarding the privacy, storage, and intended use of voice recordings, ensuring all consent and data guidelines are met.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Native-level proficiency in German, with clear articulation and excellent pronunciation.
2. At least B2-level proficiency in English to support bilingual assignments and instructions.
3. Ability to follow precise instructions and meet project specifications for audio quality and content.
4. Comfort working independently in a remote setting and managing your own workflow for assigned tasks.
5. Attention to detail, especially regarding pronunciation, background noise, and data accuracy.
