No matter which role you step into, you'll become part of a global team of passionate people who care deeply about the chemistry, quality, and global impact of coatings. /p pYou'll also join a highly multicultural and diverse team of more than 4,000 employees in four regions who – as part of one of the world’s leading coating resins companies – serve customers in over 100 countries across the globe. /p pWe are looking for an experienced bAutomation DCS Engineer /b to support a strategic project involving the implementation of a new Distributed Control System (DCS) at our chemical manufacturing site. /p pThe successful candidate will ensure operational continuity throughout the configuration, testing, commissioning, start-up and stabilization phases of the new system following the planned go-live in the coming months. /p h3bResponsibilities /b /h3 ul liSupport the implementation and configuration of the new DCS platform. /li liParticipate in testing activities, including FAT, SAT, commissioning and plant start-up. /li liModify and optimize process control logic. /li liPerform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for automation-related issues. /li liCollaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and external suppliers. /li liIntegrate field instrumentation,
control loops and process equipment into the DCS environment. /li liEnsure accurate technical documentation of implemented changes. /li liPerform all activities in compliance with company safety procedures and applicable regulations. /li /ul h3bRequired skills and experience /b /h3 ul liTechnical diploma in Electronics, Automation or Information Technology, or a degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Automation Engineering. /li liMinimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation. /li liProven hands‑on experience in programming, configuration and management of DCS systems. /li liExperience gained in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food processing or other continuous process industries. /li liPrevious involvement in DCS migration, upgrade or implementation projects. /li /ul h3bPreferred qualifications /b /h3 ul liExperience with Siemens PCS7 and/or ABB 800xA. /li liExperience with otherDistributed Control Systems (DCS), such as Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell Experion, Yokogawa Centum, Foxboro, or similar process industry platforms, is an advantage. /li liKnowledge ofPLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, or Schneider). /li liFamiliarity withSCADA/HMI systems. /li liUnderstanding of industrial communication protocols, includingProfinet, Profibus, Modbus, and OPC. /li liBasic knowledge ofSQL and industrial data collection systems (Historian). /li /ul h3bWe offer /b /h3 pWe are proud to offeran international working experiencewith a tight‑knit network of employees, making it easy to connect and learn from people all across our different functions.
