Job Description
The Account Manager plays a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact between customers and the company while contributing to long-term commercial growth.
The successful candidate will be involved in managing existing accounts, understanding client needs, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities and collaborating with internal teams to ensure the effective delivery of products and services.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Managing and developing a portfolio of existing clients.
- Building and maintaining strong long-term client relationships.
- Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Understanding client needs and providing appropriate solutions.
- Coordinating with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Customer Success teams.
- Monitoring client satisfaction and key account performance indicators.
- Supporting contract negotiations and renewals.
- Preparing regular reports on account performance and commercial opportunities.
The role is ideal for professionals with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong customer focus and a commercial mindset. Previous experience in account management, sales, business development or client-facing roles is considered an advantage.
Requirements
- Previous experience in account management, sales or a related client-facing role
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong commercial awareness and results-oriented mindset
- Ability to understand client needs and identify business opportunities
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot or similar tools is considered an advantage
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of Italian is considered an advantage
- Ability to work effectively within a team
