This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about leading with purpose and contributing to transformative solutions in the energy sector. /p /brh3How you’ll make an impact /h3 /brul /brliLead and coordinate the secondary (electrical design) scope, ensuring the integrity and reliable operation of substation systems from concept through implementation. /li /brliCoordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across internal and external teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes. /li /brliPrepare, review, and validate technical specifications, equipment selections, and key engineering deliverables such as SLDs, schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts. /li /brliDevelop and verify protection and control schemes, perform engineering calculations, and support FAT and SAT activities. /li /brliEnsure compliance with applicable standards, grid codes, and Hitachi Energy quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements. /li /brliCollaborate closely with civil, primary, protection, and control engineers to ensure seamless interfaces, constructability, and efficient cable routing. /li /brliAct as the technical point of contact for customers, suppliers, and project stakeholders on all secondary engineering matters. /li /brliSupport project execution by assessing scope changes, managing risks and opportunities, and contributing to scheduling and change management activities. /li /brliContribute to tendering activities by preparing engineering estimates, coordinating technical documentation, and performing risk assessments. /li /brliSupport installation, testing, commissioning,
and customer handover while building trusted relationships and driving continuous improvement through lessons learned. /li /br /ul /brh3Your Background /h3 /brul /brliBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. /li /brliMinimum 4 years of experience in secondary engineering for substations or industrial power systems, from design through commissioning. /li /brliKnowledge of protection concepts such as differential, distance, and overcurrent protection, as well as FAT and SAT processes. /li /brliStrong commitment to safety and workplace health and safety practices, combined with curiosity and motivation to learn new technologies. /li /brliCollaborative, solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and knowledge of power systems, renewable energy, and transmission systems. /li /brliProficiency in written and spoken English and Italian is required.
