ph3The Civil Engineer and Layout Architec will be responsible for: /h3 ul liDesigning, analyzing, and maintaining the structural integrity and safety of nuclear power plants, research facilities, and other nuclear-related infrastructure. /li liEnsuring compliance with strict regulatory codes, performing structural assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support plant construction, maintenance, and upgrade /li /ul h3Potential Next Steps /h3 pAs the company is expanding rapidly and planning international growth in 2026, the right candidate may be considered for regional and/or global responsibilities. /p h3Your Responsibilities Will Include: /h3 ul liDesigning and analyzing structural components for nuclear power plants, including containment buildings, cooling towers, and support structures. /li liEnsuring compliance with NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) regulations, ASME BPVC, ACI (American Concrete Institute), and other industry standards. /li liPerforming structural load calculations, seismic analysis, and stress assessments for nuclear infrastructure. /li liOverseeing construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, design specifications, and regulatory requirements. /li liConducting inspections, failure analysis, and maintenance assessments on existing nuclear structures. /li liCollaborating with mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems engineers to integrate structural components with plant operations. /li liAssisting in licensing and regulatory documentation for nuclear facility design approvals. /li liSupporting plant modifications, retrofits,
and decommissioning projects to meet evolving safety and operational standards. /li liUtilizing civil engineering software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ANSYS) for structural modeling and analysis. /li liProviding technical expertise and guidance to project teams, contractors, and plant operators. /li /ul h3Who We Want to Work With: /h3 h3Education: /h3 pMaster’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. /p h3Experience: /h3 p3-7 years in civil or structural engineering, preferably in nuclear, power generation, or industrial projects. /p h3Certifications (Preferred): /h3 pPE (Professional Engineer) license, SE (Structural Engineer) certification, or equivalent. /p h3Knowledge: /h3 pStrong understanding of structural analysis, reinforced concrete, and steel design. /p h3Proficiency: /h3 pIn civil engineering software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ANSYS, AutoCAD). /p h3Understanding: /h3 pOf seismic analysis, radiation shielding considerations, and nuclear-grade materials. /p h3Experience: /h3 pWith NRC regulatory requirements and nuclear safety design principles. /p h3Strengths: /h3 pStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities. /p h3Skills: /h3 pEffective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. /p h3Attention to Detail: /h3 pHigh attention to detail and commitment to nuclear safety. /p h3Ability: /h3 pTo manage multiple projects and meet regulatory deadlines. /p h3Preferred: /h3 ul liIPO experience. /li liWritten and oral fluency in Italian. /li liAbility to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
