About the role: As a Senior Accountant , you will help ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of corporate financial data. You will be responsible for journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, and oversight of accounting outcomes produced by other teams. We are looking for accounting knowledge, the ability to coordinate across multiple remote internal partners, and responsibility for period‑end close processes to deliver accurate financial information.
You will report to the GAC Manager and be located in Monfalcone, Italy . This is a hybrid role based in Monfalcone, Italy, with a requirement to work onsite 2 to 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Local GAAP , and company accounting policies in all journal booking activities
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual GL journal entries and support month‑end close processes to ensure all required entries are posted accurately
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations , investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolution with relevant teams
- Oversee financial accounting outcomes of business processes performed by other teams, including Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, consumable inventories, HR payables, and intercompany invoicing
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of statutory and statistical reporting , including Intrastat, Istat, Banca d'Italia , and related requirements
- Support Global Treasury activities, including bank reconciliations and weekly and month‑end cash forecasting
