Job Title: Technical Product Owner – Healthcare IoT & Connected Solutions Role Overview We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to drive the development and delivery of connected healthcare solutions, working closely with Solution Architects, engineering, and customer service teams. This role bridges business, clinical operations, and engineering—owning product direction while translating real-world healthcare service needs into scalable, secure, and usable solutions.
Although this position is listed as a UK-based role, we welcome applications from candidates located elsewhere in Europe and will consider suitably qualified applicants across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Own the product roadmap and backlog for healthcare IoT and connected device solutions
Translate customer service workflows and field operations needs into product features and technical requirements
Work closely with Solution Architects to align product vision with system architecture
Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements for engineering teams
Prioritize features based on business value, operational impact, and customer experience
Drive development of solutions supporting device monitoring, diagnostics, remote support, and service automation
Collaborate with customer service, support, and field teams to improve issue resolution and service efficiency
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and HITECH Act in product design
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives)
Validate delivered features through UAT, field feedback, and operational metrics
Drive integration with EHR/EMR systems, service platforms, and IoT ecosystems
Partner with DevOps teams to ensure smooth releases, monitoring, and continuous improvement
Track and improve KPIs such as uptime, response time, MTTR (mean time to resolution), and customer satisfaction
Required Skills & Experience
5–10 years of experience in product ownership, product management, or technical program delivery
Strong understanding of healthcare customer service operations (support workflows, ticketing systems, field service)
Hands-on experience or strong understanding of IoT / connected devices and edge-to-cloud architectures
Technical background in software development or engineering (ability to work closely with developers and understand trade-offs)
Experience working with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps)
Understanding of NoSQL data stores (e.g., Elasticsearch) and data-driven applications
Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare environments (hospital systems, medical devices, digital health platforms)
Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM)
Experience with service management platforms (ServiceNow, Salesforce Health Cloud, etc.)
Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, release management)
Experience with remote device management, telemetry, and diagnostics systems
Background in AI/analytics use cases (predictive maintenance, support automation, knowledge systems)

Ability to balance technical depth with product and user experience focus

Excellent stakeholder management across engineering, operations, and clinical teams
