This role is responsible for managing sourcing events, negotiating competitive commercial terms, and partnering with cross-functional teams to meet business needs. The Manager contributes to category strategy development while focusing on operational execution, supplier performance, and continuous improvement. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Strategic Sourcing Execution /h3 ul liSupport the development and execution of category strategies to achieve cost savings and mitigate supply risk. /li liManage the sourcing lifecycle and development, supplier evaluations,
negotiation, and contract preparation. /li liConduct market research and benchmarking to inform sourcing recommendations. /li /ul h3Project Management /h3 ul liLead sourcing and procurement-related projects from initiation through completion, ensuring clear scope definition, timeline management, and delivery of key milestones. /li liCoordinate cross-functional project teams and maintain strong communication to keep stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and issues (Operations, Engineering, IT, Finance, etc.). /li liDevelop and maintain project documentation, including charters, action logs, and status reports. /li liIdentify risks and mitigation plans to ensure project objectives are met on time and within scope. /li liDrive accountability across internal teams and suppliers to ensure successful project execution and adoption of sourcing outcomes. /li /ul h3Negotiation Contracting /h3 ul liLead negotiations for global and high impact sourcing events. /li liDevelop negotiation plans to achieve competitive commercial terms. /li /ul h3Supplier Contract Management /h3 ul liManage supplier relationships, track and report performance KPI’s. /li liSupport quarterly supplier business reviews and corrective action follow-up. /li liPerforms other duties as assigned.
/li /ul h3Education and Experience /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Project Mgmt., Business, or related field. /li li4–7 years of experience in sourcing or procurement (Capex, MRO, Opex). /li liStrong negotiation and analytical skills. /li liWorking knowledge of sourcing processes, cost analysis, and contract management. /li liExperience with procurement systems (SAP, Ariba, Coupa, etc.). /li liFluent in English /li /ul h3Knowledge and Skills /h3 ul liIn-depth knowledge of and experience with sourcing, category management, and/or supply chain operations. /li liDemonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team and to work effectively independently. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /li liExcellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. /li liExcellent written and oral communication skills. /li liStrong attention to detail, time management, and planning skills. /li liDemonstrates leadership abilities. /li /ul pAt bGreif /b, we believe that our colleagues are the center of our success.
