ppBackground and purpose of the assignmentthe united nations world food programme (wfp) seeks an operational information management officer to strengthen operational information management and reporting support for ltc telecoms operations. /ph3accountabilities and responsibilities /h3ullimanage the collection, organization, analysis and maintenance of operational information for ltc telecoms, ensuring data quality and timely availability. /lilidevelop and maintain data‑collection and visualization tools, including dashboards, surveys and reporting platforms. /liliupdate ltc telecoms information platforms, country pages and shared file systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. /lilioversee mailing lists, internal information‑sharing mechanisms, templates and documentation standards. /lilimanage shared ltc telecoms email accounts, assess requests and coordinate timely follow‑up with focal points. /lilicoordinate and document ltc telecoms meetings, including scheduling, agendas, minutes and follow‑up actions. /lilirepresent ltc telecoms in inter‑agency information‑management forums and working groups. /liliproduce and quality‑assure regular situation reports, factsheets, dashboards, infographics and other analytical products. /lilicoordinate ltc telecoms inputs to ocha, wfp country office and inter‑agency reporting products. /lilidevelop monitoring tools, conduct user‑feedback surveys and analyse results to inform operational decisions. /liliprovide technical guidance and ensure consistent reporting to partners and stakeholders.



/lilidesign, prepare and edit advocacy and visibility materials, including news updates, feature stories and briefing notes. /lilicoordinate procurement and management of ltc telecoms visibility items. /lilidraft and edit operational documents such as conops, project documents and presentations. /lilisupport coordination with ltc telecoms teams to ensure aligned messaging and information flows. /li /ulh3qualifications /h3ulliadvanced university degree in information management, communications, journalism, international relations, social sciences, engineering or related field (or first degree with additional experience). /liliminimum five years of postgraduate professional experience in information management, communications or related fields. /liliexperience in international contexts; experience in emergency or humanitarian settings is desirable. /liliproficiency in microsoft office applications (excel, word, powerpoint, teams, sharepoint). /lilistrong oral and written communication skills, able to translate technical terminology. /lilianalytical and problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. /liliability to provide technical guidance, coordinate with diverse stakeholders and assure quality of information products. /li /ulh3languages /h3ullifluency in english (written and spoken) – required. /liliintermediate knowledge of a second un official language (arabic, chinese, french, russian or spanish) – desirable. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
