ppbDo you enjoy working with cutting-edge technology? /b /p pbWould you like to help shape the future of our global energy? /b /p pbJoin our Materials Science Technology Team /b /p pThe Materials Science Technology team provides cutting-edge materials and processes solutions to support turbomachinery product competitiveness to deliver the highest reliable, efficiency and clean performances. /p pWe are accountable to develop, test, select, qualify, and apply materials technologies in components service environments and to deliver fit-for-purpose applications in the path of energy decarbonization. /p pbPartner with the best /b /p pWe are seeking a highly motivated Materials Engineer with a strong background in Materials Science and Technology and proven experience in failure analysis and materials testing for turbomachinery applications. /p pIn this role, you will act as a Laboratory Technologist, leading complex material investigations, testing activities, and failure analyses associated with components operating in development, installation, and field service environments. /p pYou will work closely with Design Engineering and Root Cause Analysis teams to understand design requirements and service conditions, correlating operational data with laboratory findings to support product reliability and continuous improvement. /p pThe ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical thinking, technical expertise, commitment to quality and HSE standards, and the ability to deliver results in a dynamic environment. /p pAs a Materials Engineer , you will be responsible for: /p ul lipExecuting assigned laboratory activities and issuing technical documentation in accordance with applicable procedures and Quality Management System requirements. /p /li lipReviewing testing and failure analysis requests to ensure completeness and availability of supporting documentation. /p /li lipCollecting, digitalizing, managing, and analyzing materials property data. /p /li lipCollaborating with Root Cause Analysis teams to gather relevant operational and design information.



/p /li lipPerforming complex laboratory examinations, investigations, and failure analyses. /p /li lipReviewing and validating laboratory technicians’ activities, test results, and investigation outcomes. /p /li lipDeveloping, updating, and applying laboratory procedures, test methods, and departmental processes. /p /li lipEnsuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements. /p /li lipSupporting continuous improvement initiatives related to laboratory methods, equipment, and data management. /p /li /ul pbFuel your Passion /b /p pTo be successful in this role you will: /p ul lipHold an MSc degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline. /p /li lipHave at least 2 years of experience in materials engineering, laboratory testing, or failure analysis. /p /li lipPossess technical expertise in metallic materials, special processes, testing methodologies, fractography, and materials behavior. /p /li lipBe proficient in the use of laboratory equipment such as optical microscopes, SEM/EDS systems, tensile testing machines, and hardness testing equipment. /p /li lipHave knowledge of international quality standards and accreditation systems (e.g., ISO and Nadcap). /p /li lipDemonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in English. /p /li lipExhibit effective interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships with internal and external customers. /p /li lipBe available for occasional international travel to support inspections, investigations, and technical activities.
