Once on board we nurture and promote talented individuals, making sure that senior positions are open to all. /p h3Discover the Role /h3 pThe primary responsibility of the Accountant is to work with the Supervisor/Coordinator/Senior Accountant to meet the accounting, tax, and other reporting commitments of the relevant clients. /p pThe role is responsible for achieving individual goals and contributing to broader departmental objectives. Furthermore, the Accountant ensures the timely and accurate preparation of accounts, calculations, and daily delivery of high-quality services to a portfolio of assigned clients.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liAccounting entries /li liEnsure compliance with VAT principles /li liCalculation of monthly withholding tax /li liPreparation of tax returns /li liCalculation of Italian Municipal Property Taxes (IMU, TASI) /li liCreate queries and reports on payroll data /li liPrepare simple financial reports or support a Senior Associate Accountant in preparing complex financial reports /li liEscalate relevant queries to more senior team members /li liSupport and manage client and internal requests in a timely manner /li /ul h3Key Requirements /h3 ul liIntermediate knowledge of English (B2) /li liProficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) /li liKnowledge of the Profis system is considered a plus /li liHigh school diploma and/or degree in Economics /li liUp to 5 years’ experience in similar organizations /li liWork in compliance with company procedures and related standards /li liStrong client service skills and the ability to meet required deadlines /li liOrganized and accountable approach to work /li liEnsure that all accounting procedures remain aligned with applicable laws and organizational objectives /li liStrong communication skills /li liKnowledge of accounting and budget accounts /li liOperational knowledge of VAT and other corporate taxation matters /li liUnderstanding of international financial/capital markets and financial instruments /li liUnderstanding of regulatory requirements for companies in Italy (statutory deadlines, filing requirements, etc.) /li /ul h3What’s in it for you? /h3 ul li3 days of home working per week /li liWelfare policy /li liRefer a friend policy /li liBusiness academy /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
