ppIn this role you will help design, integrate and operate mission control and communication systems for satellites. You will work across the system life cycle with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure reliable TTC and ground segment performance. You will influence system architecture, interfaces, and operational procedures during critical mission phases. Your work will support continuous process improvement and innovative approaches in mission control. /pulliDesign high level architecture of the Mission Control System and define core functionalities /liliSpecify MCS requirements and interfaces, including Space to Ground and Ground to Ground interfaces /liliCollaborate with satellite specialists to integrate telemetry, tracking command /liliCoordinate MIB construction and maintenance with input from satellite manufacturers and MIB specialists /liliConduct integration, validation, verification and testing to verify system requirements and performance /liliSupport real-time operations during launch, LEOP, and commissioning /liliPrepare system documentation: specifications, design, technical notes, user manuals, test procedures and reports /liliTechnical management of suppliers, including SoW and WPD,
and review of MCS component deliverables /liliAssist operations team to develop and validate operational procedures for command and control /liliParticipate in periodic technical meetings and contribute to process improvement and innovation /liliKnowledge of Mission Control System concepts, mechanisms and functionalities /liliTelemetry reception/decoding, telecommand preparation/encoding/releases /liliMission Information Base / Mission Database management /liliConnectivity with Ground Stations /liliMaster's degree in STEM disciplines /liliSolid knowledge of TTC principles /liliExperience with TM/TC protocols (CCSDS, ECSS) and Mission Control systems (ESOC, SCOS-2000, EGSCC or equivalent) /liliKnowledge of ECSS and CCSDS standards /liliFamiliarity with at least one programming language (Python, C/C++, Java) or Linux environments /liliAbility to analyze and troubleshoot complex systems /liliExcellent problem solving /liliAbility to work in multidisciplinary teams /liliQuality orientation and attention to detail /liliTelemetry reception and decoding (Packet and Parameters) /liliTelecommand encoding and release aspects /liliTTC concepts and interfaces /li /ulpMission Control System Engineer m/f Ref.
