With a rich heritage of technological innovation and a forward-thinking approach, we lead the energy transition through engineering excellence, cutting-edge technology, and strong execution capabilities. /ppbr/ppTecnimont is looking for a bLayout Piping Mechanical Critical Application Specialist /b to join the bLayout Piping Department /b within the bEngineering, Technology and Research Development Division /b. /ppbr/ppThe Layout Piping Mechanical Critical Application Specialist, under the supervision of the Group Leader, will contribute to the mechanical analysis and design of critical piping components, piping systems, and pipe supports. /ppThe role focuses on complex mechanical applications requiring advanced engineering analyses, ensuring compliance with applicable Engineering Practices, international codes, and company standards. /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /ppYou will be responsible for: /pulliPerforming advanced mechanical analyses and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of critical piping components, piping systems, and pipe supports. /liliPerforming engineering calculations for piping systems operating under critical conditions, including high pressure and/or high temperature applications. /liliAnalyzing systems subject to cyclic service, creep conditions, or other demanding operating scenarios. /liliPerforming mechanical assessments of large-diameter piping and components outside standard ANSI/ASME dimensions. /liliAnalyzing piping systems and components subject to high applied loads or complex geometries. /liliPerforming mechanical analyses of piping connections to critical equipment. /liliDeveloping and verifying technical solutions for critical pipe supports in accordance with project requirements. /liliPerforming piping and mechanical calculations using specialist engineering software, including bCAESAR II, NozzlePRO, and ANSYS /b. /liliStudying, interpreting,
and applying international codes, standards, and specialist regulatory requirements related to piping component design. /liliCollaborating with Layout Piping and other Engineering disciplines to ensure the technical consistency and integration of critical piping solutions. /liliSupporting the resolution of complex technical issues related to mechanical behavior and critical piping applications. /li /ulpbr/ppbRequirements and Skills /b /pulliDegree in mechanical engineering or technical diploma. /liliAt least b10 years of professional experience /b in mechanical design and analysis within the Piping discipline. /liliProven experience in mechanical and stress analysis using bCAESAR II, NozzlePRO, and ANSYS /b. /liliStrong knowledge of piping mechanical analysis, critical piping components, and pipe support design. /liliGood knowledge of applicable piping codes, standards, and engineering practices. /liliExperience with critical applications involving high pressure and temperature, cyclic service, creep conditions, large-diameter piping, high loads, or complex geometries. /liliGood knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. /liliFamiliarity with CAD software, preferably bAutoCAD /b. /liliGood working knowledge of English. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to technical detail. /liliAbility to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams. /liliAvailability for business trips in Italy and abroad. /li /ulpbr/ppbContract Type and Classification /b /pulliContract Type: Permanent /liliApplicable Collective Agreement (NCLC): Chemical and Chemical-Pharmaceutical Industry (Identification Code B011)
