PRE OR POST-DOCTORAL POSITION AT SR-TIGET

IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, is looking for Post-Graduate (Pre-Doc) students or Post-Doctoral scientists to join the Epigenetic regulation and targeted genome editing led by Prof. Angelo Lombardo Group at SR-TIGET (San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy).
Main activities:
Conduct research in the development of new genome and epigenome editing tools
Apply these tools in the context of in vivo genome editing projects
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists to achieve project goals
Participate in the preparation of research papers, grants, and presentations
Who we are looking for:
Post-graduate (pre-doc) or post-doctoral experience in molecular biology, genetics, biotechnology, or a related field
Expertise in cell line engineering and primary cell culture, including fibroblasts and pluripotent stem cells (PSCs)
Proficiency in cloning techniques, viral vector design and production, and delivery methods
Experience with lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), various plasmid DNA (pDNA) and RNA transfection methods
Skilled in flow cytometry (FACS) and cytometry analysis
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
