Product Sales Support Technician, Switches (m/f/d)

Your Role
This is a technical role within the Product Sales Support Department in R&D;, focused on in-depth analysis of products returned by customers to identify the root cause. As Product Sales Support Technician, you will be responsible for collecting data and generating the necessary reports, using statistical methods to identify areas of improvement, and working with the factories and management team to prioritize improvements and avoid the repetition of similar faults in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting in-depth analysis to find the root cause of product claims returned by customers, discussing possible solutions with the responsible departments
- Managing the flow of product claim returns, from logging on the claims schedule up to compiling the claim report, shared with the sales team
- Gathering monthly statistical data on claims and identifying any recurring claims to solve issues proactively
- Identifying areas of possible product improvement
- Liaising with factories in Mexico and China on nonconforming products and discussing possible improvements
- Serving as a technical link between factories and the warehouse in Milan, performing quality checks on nonconforming material in warehouse stock
- Working with application engineers to gather data from applications and relate the failure mode to the way the product is being used in the customer's application
Your Profile
- Preferably in possession of an electrical/electronic technical degree
- Knowledge and experience in power electronics and electrical circuit analysis
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to produce quality technical documentation
- Team-oriented mindset
- Self-motivated, able to work independently without constant supervision
- Fluent in English
- Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an asset
- Applicants must already be in possession of a valid work permit to work in Italy
