The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks within our Rolling Stock Engineering Department. And that’s where you come in.Accountabilities The main accountabilities include, but are not limited to:Prepare System Requirements Specifications (SyRS) for electrical componentsAnalyze and assess technical documentation from SuppliersPrepare and verify electrical system installation/integration drawings/specifications (including material selection, electromagnetic/thermal analysis, etc.)Perform simulations to optimize electrical systems performance and energy efficiencyConduct design reviews (both internal and with suppliers) for the assigned work package, under the supervision of relevant Engineering Managers and Project Engineers Attend at system stand-alone type test and review of type test reportsSupport manufacturing, testing and validation phasesReview design documentation with customers and suppliersPrepare electrical schematics,



collaborating with mechanical design teams to ensure seamless electromechanical integrationPrepare the Bill of Materials (BoM) of electrical schematicsEnsure compliance with input requirements, international railway regulations and standards and project constraints (time, cost, quality)Prepare the documentation required for vehicle approval and support the homologation phaseRequired Skills/ KnowledgeBasic knowledge of electrotechnics and electronics disciplinesBasic knowledge of design verification and validation methodologiesBasic knowledge of electrical CAD tools (E3 preferred)Basic knowledge of electrical components (relays, circuit brakers, cables, connectors, etc.)Basic knowledge of electrical schematics designBasic knowledge of electrical machine design principlesBasic knowledge of electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., Ansys Maxwell, Motor-CAD).Basic knowledge of thermal and electromagnetic analysisGood knowledge of office automation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, international and multicultural environmentGood organizational skills, alongside team-working, problem-solving and results-driven mindsetAbility to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (including suppliers, partners, customers)Ability to work within project teams under minimal supervisionAvailability for occasional short-term national and international business tripsDesired Skills/ KnowledgeMinimum experience (1-2 years)
