We are looking for a Calculation Support & Development Specialist to join our team based in Calderara di Reno (BO).
MISSION
Development of calculation models for transmission simulation, structural, thermal and fluid dynamics analysis related to products designed by of R&D; platforms with the aim to define the correct sizing of components in accordance with customer technical requirements.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Calculations and Simulations Analysis:
- Analytical calculation for the main components of gearboxes (gears, bearings, shafts) according to standard regulations (ISO, AGMA, DIN, Atex) to define the correct sizing of components
- Finite element Analysis of critical components (flange or gearbox housing) with the aim to predict how a product react to real physical effects (es: forces, vibration, heat, fluid flow,..)
- Correlation between analytical calculation results and testing results
- Support and work in team with Design Platforms in order to define the best compromise between design solution and performance reliability, through advanced calculation
- Collaboration with Application Engineer for optimizations of Customer gearboxes
Models and procedures development:
- Development of specific software for the gearbox performance calculation (typically KISSsoft/KISSsys), according to bill of material and product configurator
- Calculation of technical data for Sales catalogue
- Definition of internal standard for calculation procedure and instruction for testing execution
- Evaluate and monitor norms evolution and new calculation methodologies
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in NX for 3D modeling and drafting
- Experience with Simcenter 3D for FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
- Solid background in mechanical calculation
- Knowledge of KISSsoft for transmission component design/verification
- Familiarity with Particleworks (CFD simulation)
- Experience with Teamcenter (PLM)
- Proficient in Excel
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
COMPENSATION PACKAGE The annual compensation range for this position is € 40,000 - € 45,000 , with additional benefits. This compensation range has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including the scope of the role, required skills, relevant professional experience, qualifications, and level of responsibility.
