Overview
As AI Developer and Engineer - Team Lead, you will design, build, and deploy reliable AI systems across the group, spanning ML, DL, NLP, CV, and LLMs. You will lead end-to-end projects and mentor a team of AI developers, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions via strong MLOps practices. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to align roadmaps, staffing, and delivery with Generali’s growth objectives.
Your work will drive central analytics and automation services used across business units, shaping the group’s AI capabilities and impact.

Responsabilità
- Lead design and development of end-to-end AI projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define timelines and staffing to meet business requirements
- Oversee PoC through full development lifecycle
- Establish and enforce best practices (code standards, MLOps, dataset versioning)
for scalable, secure AI solutions
- Manage and mentor a team of AI developers, promoting skill development and collaboration
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master in Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience
- Proven experience in developing and deploying AI solutions (ML, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, LLMs)
- Strong programming skills
- Strong knowledge of Agentic Development
- Experience with MLOps (CI/CD for ML, model versioning, monitoring)
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of at least one cloud platform
- Understanding of data engineering principles and scalable architectures
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects
- Strong communication skills to bridge Data Science and Engineering teams
- Defining best practices and ensuring code quality
