ppIn this role you will design and develop advanced power electronic systems for Solid State Circuit Breakers, collaborating in a cross-functional RD team to deliver robust, high-performance solutions. You will simulate, validate, and qualify devices and assemblies, drive prototype development, and ensure thermal and electrical reliability. You will work closely with mechanical and electronic engineers to meet quality, time, and cost targets. and mitigate technical risks /li liCommunicate effectively in English /li liMaster's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering (Power Electronics focus) /li liAt least 5 years of experience in power electronics design and development /li liExpertise in power semiconductor devices (IGBTs, MOSFETs, SiC/GaN modules) including thermal/electrical characterization /li liKnowledge of power conversion topologies (DC/DC, inverter, rectifier) and advanced switching for DC applications /li liHands-on experience with thermal and electrical simulation tools (PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice, Ansys Maxwell, Icepak, SIMetrix) /li liExperience with PCB design/layout optimization; familiarity with Altium Designer or equivalent; PSPICE experience /li liProficiency with lab measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, impedance analyzers) /li liFamiliarity with MATLAB and Python; scripting and numerical computation /li liExperience in SSCB design, DC power applications; SiC/GaN devices preferred /li liKnowledge of IEC/UL standards for DC protection/switching and agile RD environment /li liPublications or patents in power electronics considered a plus /li liAbility to work independently in an agile team /li liIndependent work capability with limited supervision /li liCross-functional collaboration /li liProactive risk identification and mitigation /li liPower electronics design and development /li liThermal and electrical characterization of power semiconductors /li liCircuit and system-level simulation /li /ul pSenior Power Electronic Engineer SSCB Platform monza-brianza, lombardia, it /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
