- Support customers in Big Data projects in collaboration with business analysts and solution architects
- Deliver data acquisition, transformations, cleansing, conversion, compression and loading into data lakes for analytics/ML
- Understand use cases and data needs to define outcomes and guide data engineering work
- Cloud-native experience in at least one major public cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure)
- 5 years experience on Azure preferred
- Experience with Big Data architectures (cloud and on-prem)
- Azure infrastructure and networking experience
- Proven ability to deliver PoCs addressing business needs
- Experience migrating workloads from on-premises to cloud
- Monitoring distributed infrastructure (Azure tools or Grafana/Prometheus)
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting
- SQL knowledge
- Experience with Agile/Kanban
- Experience leading medium-sized teams
- Experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse; Azure certifications (Data Engineer Associate or Solutions Architect Expert)
