About the Company
ISMETT is a multi-organ transplant and highly specialized center, established through an international non-profit public-private partnership between the Region of Sicily, the Ri.MED Foundation, and UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center), which manages the center. The Italian Ministry of Health has recognized ISMETT as a Scientific Institute for Research, Hospitalization and Healthcare (IRCCS) in the discipline of "Care and research of end-stage organ failure". The Institute is one of the few in Italy that has held Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation since 2009 and one of the 6 Italian hospitals certified at Stage 6 EMRAM, HIMSS.

Position
Our institution offers the opportunity to perform an Erasmus+ Traineeship, designed for students enrolled in universities participating in the program who wish to complement their studies with hands-on experience in a real work environment.
The Erasmus+ Traineeship will be activated through a Learning Agreement with ISMETT.
The Traineeship does not include remuneration. Insurance coverage for accidents and civil liability will be provided by the home University or by the student.
