/p h3WHAT WE LOOK FOR /h3 pDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field /p p2+ years of experience as a System Administrator in a complex IT environment (space, aerospace, telecommunications, or similar) /p pTechnical Skills /p pStrong expertise in Windows Linux system administration /p pKnowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware) /p pFamiliarity with networking concepts (routing, switch configuration, firewall, VPNs) /p pProficiency in automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible) /p pProblem-solving mindset and a proactive approach /p pAbility to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment /p pStrong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate across departments /p pFluency in English (written and spoken) /p pEligibility for security clearance /p pWillingness to travel within Europe when required /p h3WHAT YOU WILL DO /h3 pAs a System Administrator, you will be part of the Galileo Ground Segment, a critical component of the Galileo satellite navigation system.
Your role will involve configuring, maintaining,

and optimizing the ground segment infrastructure while collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure high availability and reliability of Galileo services.
/p pInstalling, configuring, and maintaining complex IT infrastructures, including servers, networking devices, cryptographic systems, and key IT services /p pSetting up and managing containerized services /p pEnsuring the integration and testing of new software and hardware releases before deployment /p pAssisting in penetration tests and IT security audits to evaluate system robustness and compliance /p pSupporting the delivery of Galileo's navigation message, ensuring the infrastructure meets strict operational standards /p pOperations Continuous Improvement /p pParticipating in anomaly investigations, change control boards, and system migrations to enhance system performance /p pCollaborating with ESA, EUSPA, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with mission requirements and industry best practices /p pThis is a unique opportunity to work in a high-tech, mission-critical environment, contributing to one of Europe's most strategic space programs.
