In this role you will design mechanical solutions for satellite systems, collaborating with system, electrical, thermal, and structural engineers to define requirements and enable reliable space hardware. You will create 3D and 2D drawings for space equipment, support fast prototyping, and manage components and documentation. The position offers hands-on design work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment focused on performance and reliability. and procure components for mechanical designsManage part lists and libraries including standard componentsBachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field3+ years of experience in mechanical design of mechanical/structural systems (space experience a plus)Proficiency in 3D and 2D modelling; NX experience is a plusExperience with NX PCB Exchange design is a plusUnderstanding of materials (metallic/composite), coatings, and xysqume adhesivesExperience gathering technical requirements and developing specifications and documentationExperience interacting with customers, subcontractors and suppliersSystem-oriented thinking and awareness of cost and schedule impactsSoft skills: team relationship building, fast-paced environment, creative engineering problem solvingteam collaborationfast-paced adaptabilitycreative problem-solvingNX PCB Exchange#J-18808-Ljbffr
