You will oversee multiple teams, allocate resources, and drive performance improvements to meet financial and operational objectives. You’ll shape policies and processes, coordinating with cross-functional leaders to ensure safe, efficient project execution. This is an opportunity to influence performance at scale within a long-established energy services company that supports offshore and nearshore energy projects.ResponsabilitàManage multiple related teams and set organizational prioritiesProvide leadership to managers and professional staffDevelop departmental plans including business, production, and organizational prioritiesAllocate staffing and resources for projects and proposalsOversee administrative and technical management of the commissioning departmentIdentify performance gaps and drive improvements in systems, equipment, and peopleCoordinate work across disciplines, offices, fabrication, and construction to meet project requirementsLead technical execution aligned with project business considerationsAdminister and manage departmental performance appraisalsCoordinate training, recruitment,
and workforce developmentCommunicate project status and manage hand-overs between departments and sitesEnsure compliance with McDermott policies and proceduresOversee budgeting, staffing, and salary planning for the departmentMaintain up-to-date MPS system and prepare man-hour estimatesLead improvement initiatives within the departmentSupport project proposals and resource allocationsEnsure timely mandatory training and staff developmentMaintain departmental integrity of work producedStay aligned with project milestones through the Lead EngineerLiaise with project managers, controls, engineering managers, and construction/fabrication teamsRequisiti fondamentaliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering20+ years of experience with proven leadershipMulti-disciplinary expertise within own discipline and basic knowledge of other functionsStrong xysqume industry understanding to influence processes and policiesSignificant management experienceExcellent communication and presentation skillsProficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and other engineering softwareAbility to assess and communicate project requirements clearlyFlexibility for reassignment across departments/sites/officesProficiency in English; multilingual skills a plusExperience with recruitment, performance management, and training coordinationAbility to manage budgets and staffing plansCommitment to training completion and policy enforcementleadershipcommunicationadaptabilityMS WordExcelPowerPoint#J-18808-Ljbffr
