Our client is a well-established, global cybersecurity vendor specialising in email security and security awareness training. With a strong and growing presence in Italy, including offices in Milan and Turin, they help organisations protect their people and data against today's most common and damaging threats.
The Role
This is an opportunity to take ownership of the local public sector territory across North West Italy. You will be responsible for winning new public sector customers while growing and renewing an established customer base, with significant opportunity to cross-sell, as many existing customers currently use only one of the two core solutions.
You will report to the District Manager for Public Sector and work closely with the Country Manager and the wider Italian team. This is a replacement hire for an established patch, giving you an existing customer base to build from from day one.
Territory
Lombardia (Milan), Piemonte (Turin), Liguria (Genoa) and Valle d'Aosta, covering local public administration, healthcare and hospitals, and wider local public sector organisations. Central government and ministries are not part of this territory.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute a territory plan to win new logos across local public administration and healthcare in Northwest Italy.
- Manage and grow the existing customer base, driving renewals and cross-selling across both email security and security awareness training.
- Lead and navigate public tender processes, from early engagement and positioning through to bid submission and award.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with IT, security and procurement stakeholders across the region.
- Work closely with channel partners to build pipeline and deliver joint strategies in the field.
- Spend meaningful time meeting customers and partners in person to build long‑term relationships.
- Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast, consistently delivering against quota.
What We're Looking For

- A proven track record selling into the Italian local public sector (public administration, healthcare, hospitals).
- Strong, hands‑on experience managing public tenders and a clear understanding of how the public sector buys.
- An established network of relationships within public sector organisations in Northwest Italy.
- Experience selling cybersecurity solutions into the public sector. Email security and /or security awareness experience is an added plus but not essential.
- Based within the territory, close to customers and prospects, with the ability to travel regularly across the region.
- A field‑focused, collaborative approach, comfortable meeting customers face to face and working closely with partners.
