Initially, the role will focus on implementing the Group operating model, ensuring data accuracy, process consistency, and compliance with reporting deadlines.
Over time, the person will manage end-to-end accounting activities in collaboration with the local Finance team and act as a key contact for the parent company.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and apply the Group operating model (processes, controls, reporting calendar)Independently manage general ledger activities and day-to-day accountingManage periodic closing activities (monthly/quarterly/year-end) and prepare Group reporting packagesMonitor and control Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable cycles, including Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processesSupport the preparation of statutory financial statements and related reportingAct as the main point of contact for the parent company on accounting and reporting mattersEnsure accuracy, completeness,
and timeliness of accounting data and reportsRequirementsHigh school diploma and/or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related fieldsAt least 5 years of relevant experience in a multinational group, structured company, or consultancy firmExperience in auditing, accounting, or implementation of finance/administrative processes is a plusSolid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting processesHands-on experience with periodic close and reporting is preferredSkills & CompetenciesExcellent English (written and spoken)Strong organizational skills and ability to work independentlyAbility to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlinesAccuracy, reliability, and a structured approachTeam-oriented, proactive, and dynamic mindsetStrong Microsoft Office skills, especially ExcelWhat We OfferOpportunity to join a stable and growing companyGAS range: ******€ - ******€On-site role based in Rome (north-west)Grafton is the global Professional Recruitment brand of Gi Group Holding, the first Italian multinational in the employment sector and one of the leading companies providing HR services and consulting worldwide.
