Electrical Engineering Intern

Wood is recruiting for an Electrical Engineer - Graduate to join its Projects business line focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex plants in the Chemical, Petrochemical and Energy industries. The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.
Reporting to the Lead Electrical Engineer will be responsible of the execution of assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures, codes and standards.

Carry-out electrical system studies
Execute equipment sizing calculations
Prepare electrical job specifications and data-sheets
Prepare material requisitions for electrical equipment and perform technical bid evaluations as per relevant practices
Assist the electrical designers with the preparation of electrical drawings
Perform site surveys and prepare relevant reports
