Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director Satellite Communications to drive business growth and expand our presence within the satellite communications industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in teleport services maritime satellite connectivity and strategic business development with a proven ability to build partnerships and generate new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in the satellite communications market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders
- Expand the company s presence in teleport services and maritime satellite connectivity
- Lead commercial negotiations and manage strategic accounts
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements
- Collaborate with technical and operations teams to deliver customer-focused satellite connectivity solutions
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to long-term business growth
Qualifications
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- 10–15+ years of experience in the satellite communications industry.
- Strong experience in business development, sales, or commercial management.
- Proven background in teleport operations and maritime satellite communications.
- Demonstrated success in revenue generation, market expansion, and strategic partnerships.
- Strong understanding of satellite connectivity solutions and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
