Role: Senior System / Platform EngineerLocation: ItalyExperience: 5+ YearsAbout the RoleAre you an experienced Platform Engineer passionate about Linux, Kubernetes, virtualization, and large-scale infrastructure operations? Join our team and play a critical role in building, managing, and optimizing enterprise and telecom-grade platforms that power mission-critical services.We are seeking a highly motivated Senior System / Platform Engineer who can take ownership of platform reliability, scalability, automation, and operational excellence across production and lab environments.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior System / Platform Engineer, you will:Deploy, administer, and maintain Linux-based and Kubernetes-driven platforms.Manage and optimize containerized and virtualized environments.Integrate infrastructure components including compute, storage, and networking platforms.Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, platform, and infrastructure issues.Perform system performance analysis, optimization, and capacity planning.Support automation initiatives to improve platform efficiency and reduce operational overhead.Manage and support production, staging, and lab environments.Drive operational excellence through proactive monitoring, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.Participate in incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem management activities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform availability, reliability, and scalability.Required Technical SkillsLinux AdministrationStrong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)Linux system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuningSystem patching and lifecycle managementKubernetes & ContainersKubernetes cluster deployment and administrationContainer platforms and orchestrationKubernetes networking, storage,
