pstrongProject Director – BESS Manufacturing | Italy - Hybrid work model /strong /ppbr / /ppWe are supporting a major industrial project involving the development of strongtwo BESS manufacturing facilities in Italy from the ground up /strong. /ppWe are looking for an experienced strongProject Director /strong who can take overall responsibility for transforming this ambitious concept into a fully operational industrial business. /ppThe Project Director will coordinate all technical, commercial and contractual workstreams while acting as a key interface between our client, its project partner, the Italian government, suppliers and contractors. /ppbr / /ppstrongKey responsibilities: /strong /pulliLead the development and delivery of two BESS manufacturing facilities /liliOversee the project from early development through construction and operational readiness /liliDefine how the facilities will be developed, structured and operated /liliSelect and manage suppliers, contractors and technical partners /liliOversee contracts, budgets, timelines and project risks /liliCoordinate multiple technical and commercial workstreams /liliBuild the core team and organisational structure around the facilities /liliManage relationships with senior stakeholders,
including project partners and government representatives /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongThe ideal candidate: /strong /pulliDeep technical knowledge of batteries and BESS technology /liliUnderstanding of cell production, battery degradation, system performance and augmentation strategies /liliExperience delivering major industrial, manufacturing or energy infrastructure projects /liliStrong commercial and contract management capabilities /liliThe ability to assess the project from a complete 360-degree perspective /liliSenior stakeholder management experience across complex, multi-party environments /liliProfessional fluency in Italian and strong knowledge of the Italian market /li /ulpbr / /ppThe project is currently progressing towards strongfinancial close /strong, which is expected within the next few months.
