As Senior Data Engineer at Satispay, you will shape and scale the next-generation data platform. You'll design a Lakehouse-based architecture that integrates with Redshift, enabling high-performance analytics for analysts and business teams. You'll empower self-service analytics, own the dbt framework and CI/CD practices, and lead reliable orchestration, streaming, and ML tooling. This role blends platform engineering with governance, security, and mentorship in a fast-paced fintech environment. You'll have a clear impact on data quality, speed, and empowering data-driven decisions across the organization.

Responsabilità
- Design and evolve the Data Lakehouse strategy with Redshift integration
- Own and scale dbt framework, CI/CD, and testing for analytics engineering
- Build and optimize orchestration layers with Airflow for batch and near-real-time workloads
- Own ML Platform, Feature Store,
and data pipelines for model training/inference
- Develop streaming pipelines (Flink, Spark Streaming) for real-time analytics
- Tackle AI tooling and agentic engineering to accelerate delivery
- Oversee ingestion workflows (Fivetran) and Python pipelines for reliable data flow
- Ensure performance, cost efficiency, data quality, observability, and SLAs
- Implement data security, access control, and compliance across data assets
- Mentor junior/mid engineers and promote engineering standards
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years xjncmbx designing and maintaining complex enterprise data platforms
- Strong SQL skills and practical experience with Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience with batch and real-time streaming architectures
- Experience with data governance, quality, and observability
- Ability to design self-serve data tooling for Analysts
- Clear communication and stakeholder management in diverse teams
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Passion for FinTech or startup environments
