Acting as the primary interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders, the role proactively identifies potential delays, coordinates mitigation actions, and maintains visibility over the status of critical orders throughout the procurement and manufacturing process.brKey ResponsibilitiesbrMonitor supplier progress against purchase order milestones to ensure materials are manufactured, inspected, released, and delivered according to project schedules.brPerform supplier expediting activities through regular follow-up meetings, status collection, manufacturing progress verification, and proactive identification of delivery risks.brReview suppliers' manufacturing and delivery schedules, anticipating potential bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions when necessary.brCoordinate with Procurement,
Project Management, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics teams to align priorities and ensure effective cross-functional communication.brMonitor supplier performance, providing regular updates and escalation reports to Supply Chain Management.brCoordinate inspection activities and ensure the timely execution of quality control and release processes.brVerify readiness for shipment and ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality requirements, and contractual obligations before shipment authorization.brMaintain accurate reporting of supplier progress, critical issues, and delivery forecasts within ERP and project management systems.brSupport delay recovery plans and work closely with suppliers to mitigate schedule impacts.brCoordinate and manage third-party inspectors, expediting agencies, and external consultants involved in supplier surveillance activities.brConduct regular supplier visits and on-site expediting activities to verify manufacturing progress, resolve issues directly, and support project delivery objectives.brEnsure procurement project plans and delivery schedules remain updated and aligned with actual supplier performance.brQualificationsbrBachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,
or a related discipline.brMinimum 5 years of experience in supplier expediting, procurement, manufacturing coordination, or supply chain operations within EPC, industrial plants, energy, oil gas, power generation, or heavy industry environments.brProven experience following supplier manufacturing activities and critical equipment deliveries.brExperience coordinating supplier inspections, quality release activities, and shipment readiness processes.brFamiliarity with project execution methodologies and supplier performance management.brKnowledge of manufacturing processes, industrial equipment, and project-driven supply chains.brExperience using ERP systems and project management tools.brProfessional proficiency in English and Italian.brPreferred QualificationsbrCertification in Expediting, Welding Inspection, NDT, or Quality Management.brExperience supporting large-scale EPC or energy infrastructure projects.brKnowledge of international logistics and supplier quality surveillance activities.brKey Competencies:brStrong organizational and planning skills.brExcellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.brAutonomous, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.brAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.brAssertive and persistent approach to supplier management.brStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.brAttention to detail and commitment to delivery excellence.brPay range and compensation packagebrPermanent, full-time contract.
