And if that's you we would love to have you join us! /ph3Job Description /h3pFounded in 1979, ASEM has actively participated in the evolution of digital information technologies and today we operate in the markets of Industrial Automation, Test, Measurement with a complete range of industrial PCs and monitors and a complete range of HMI, control, remote assistance, and Industrial IoT gateways, characterized by our own hardware, firmware, software, mechanical and system design capability. /ppSince 2020 we have been part of the American multinational group Rockwell Automation, a leading player operating in the industrial automation sector with headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA). /ppAs a bSenior Software Test Engineer /b, you will drive the testing strategy and execution for bFactoryTalk® Optix™ /b, a modern visualization platform that accelerates value delivery through innovative technologies, scalable deployment, and seamless integration with industrial systems. /ppYou will act as the btechnical reference for testing activities /b, owning the test infrastructure (including hardware and PLC-based environments), defining best practices, and guiding other test engineers across global teams. /ppThis role combines bdeep technical expertise /b, bhands-on hardware/PLC capability /b, and bleadership in test strategy and execution /b. /ppYou will report to the Test Technical Project Manager and have a hybrid schedule working in Verona, Italy.
/ph3bYour Responsibilities: /b /h3ulliDefine and guide the btest strategy /b for the product, across functional, integration, system, and performance testing /liliBe a bTest Lead /b, coordinating testing activities within the team and across global teams /liliMentor other test engineers, promoting technical growth and best practices /liliRepresent testing in architectural discussions, design reviews, and release planning /liliIdentify inefficiencies in the testing process and lead improvement projects /liliManage the btest infrastructure /b, including hardware setups, lab environments, and network configurations /liliConfigure bPLCs and industrial devices /b used for validation /liliDesign and evolve bend-to-end test environments /b that reflect real industrial scenarios /liliEnsure reliability, scalability, and reproducibility of hardware-based test setups /liliGuide the evolution of the btest automation framework /b (Python, Squish) /liliEnsure appropriate test coverage of new and changed functionality /liliLead integration of automated tests in the bCI/CD pipeline /b /liliDefine quality gates and metrics to support release decisions /liliCollaborate with developers, architects, product managers, and global teams to ensure product quality /liliSupport requirements analysis and contribute to architectural decisions from a testability perspective /liliCommunicate testing status, risks, and quality metrics to partners /li /ulh3bThe Essentials - You Will Have: /b /h3ulliBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent /lilib7+ years of experience /b in software testing,
