Forward Deployed EngineerWe are currently looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join a fast growing AI company in Italy.This is a hands-on engineering role combining software development, AI, integrations and direct customer interaction. You will work closely with enterprise customers to understand their needs, design technical solutions and bring AI-powered systems into production.Details? Location: Milan or Rome, Italy – hybrid, 4 days/week in the office? Contract: Permanent?️ Languages: Italian & EnglishWhat you will do- Work directly with enterprise customers to understand their business and technical challenges.- Translate complex and ambiguous requirements into practical technical solutions.- Design, build and deploy AI-driven solutions and integrations.- Work across APIs,
systems and data flows to connect customer environments.- Test solutions with real-world data and continuously improve their performance and reliability.- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams.- Take ownership of technical delivery from initial design through to production.What we are looking for- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or a similar technical role.- Strong software engineering and system design fundamentals.- Experience working with integrations, APIs, systems and data flows.- Experience building, deploying and maintaining production systems.- Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.- A hands-on mindset and strong sense of ownership.- Interest in AI, automation and emerging AI-powered technologies.If you are an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, working closely with customers and building technology that has a real world impact, don´t hesitate to apply
