About the role
We are looking for a reliable associate based in Messina to support our students with in-person administrative tasks. This is a flexible, task-based engagement: you will be contacted when a task arises (typically a few times per month), visit the relevant office, and report back the same day.
Key responsibilities
Visit university student offices (segreteria studenti) in Messina in person to follow up on enrollment and administrative matters
Submit and collect documents on behalf of students, with prior written authorization
Provide clear written reports after each visit, including the officials spoken to, outcomes, and next steps
Support newly arrived international students with local bureaucratic procedures (such as residence registration and tax code applications) as needed
What we are looking for
Based in Messina, with availability during office hours
Fluent Italian and good working English (our students are primarily English-speaking)
Familiarity with University of Messina administrative offices is a strong advantage
Professional, discreet, and reliable, able to handle sensitive student documents with care
Comfortable working on a freelance contractor basis with task-based assignments
