**Junior System Engineer

****Accountabilities
**The main accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
* Prepare System Requirements Specifications (SyRS)
* Define and manage system interfaces (both internal and external) throughout the entire project lifecycle
* Analyze and assess technical documentation from Suppliers
* Prepare and verify system installation/integration drawings/specifications
* Conduct design reviews (both internal and with suppliers) for the assigned onboard systems, under the supervision of relevant Engineering Managers and Project Engineers
* Prepare Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), as well as Functional Test Specifications (FTS) (including performance tests) for the assigned onboard systems
* Attend at system stand-alone type test and review of type test reports
* Support onboard integration, performance testing and validation phases
* Review design documentation with customers and suppliers
* Ensure compliance with input requirements, international railway regulations and standards and project constraints (time, cost, quality)
* Prepare the documentation required for vehicle approval and support the homologation phase
**Required Skills/ Knowledge
*** Basic knowledge of system engineering and requirements management disciplines
* Basic knowledge of design verification and validation methodologies
* Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering disciplines
* Good knowledge of office automation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, international and multicultural environment
* Good organizational skills, alongside team-working, problem-solving and results-driven mindset
* Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (including suppliers, partners, customers)
* Ability to work within project teams under minimal supervision
* Availability for occasional short-term national and international business trips
**Desired Skills/ Knowledge
*** Minimum experience (1-2 years) in the Railway sector or in complex industrial environments
* Basic knowledge of the main railway regulations and standards
* Basic knowledge of IBM DOORS requirements management tool
* Basic knowledge of engineering processes and railway operations
* Basic knowledge of RAMS discipline
* Basic knowledge of electrical / mechanical design software (AutoCAD, Creo, Catia, etc.)
* Fast learner with strong willingness to stay up to date with technological developments
* Good business acumen combined with solid technical skills
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
**Education/Qualifications
**Master's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics disciplines preferred).
**Languages
**Knowledge of written and spoken English (at least B2 level). xysqume “Alla posizione si applica il vigente CCNL per l’industria metalmeccanica privata e l’installazione di impianti, con inquadramento nel livello B1, ai sensi della relativa disciplina di classificazione del personale.”Proponiamo una retribuzione annua lorda compresa tra 33.000 € e 38.000 €.
