Learn more about our benefits. /p h3Position Overview /h3 pAs a Field Service Engineer (Customer Engineer) at Applied Materials, you serve as the direct liaison with customers, collaborating closely to install, maintain, and upgrade equipment. You'll use digital analytics for troubleshooting and apply basic diagnostic techniques to assess and address technical issues. Your responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various systems such as electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma,
hydraulic, and gas systems. Additionally, you'll coordinate and communicate directly with customers to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liManagement of equipment performance and supply of spare parts /li liImplement and guarantee all levels of preventative and corrective maintenance within timelines /li liSupporting in troubleshooting activities and fixing technical issues on equipment /li liDiagnose and resolve hardware issues through understanding of software and process data as needed /li liPerforms upgrades and retrofits on equipment /li liEnsures that the team applies the correct procedures and checklist for maintenance both corrective and preventive /li liUnderstands and implements correct work methodologies and procedures as per company and customer quality standards /li liAnticipates and responds to equipment issues and escalations in a timely manner /li liCollaborates and communicates with company stakeholders /li liParticipates in internal and customer meetings /li liWithin assigned scope,
