Overview
In this role, you will support Belmond’s legal and corporate integrity efforts for its luxury train and hotel businesses in Southern Europe. You will work within the in-house Legal & Corporate Integrity team to manage contracts, provide business-facing legal advice, and coordinate complex compliance programs. You’ll help mitigate risk across operations, finance, sales, marketing, and HR while ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements. This position offers exposure to international, fast-paced environments and opportunities to shape legal strategy in a premium hospitality context. Responsabilità
- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial contracts (supplier, client, partnership, service agreements) in compliance with laws and internal policies
- Provide proactive legal support to operations, finance, sales,
marketing and HR to mitigate risks and enable business objectives
- Coordinate litigation strategy with external law firms and provide internal guidance for disputes
- Contribute to development and monitoring of compliance programs (GDPR, anti-bribery, 231/2001) with focus on supplier onboarding and due diligence
- Draft reporting on legal matters to line managers and stakeholders
- Conduct legal research and concise analysis relevant to hospitality and luxury sectors
Requisiti fondamentali
- Admitted to practice Italian law
- 2-3 years PQE in a reputable law firm or in-house (preferably international)
- Essential experience in commercial contract law
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks incl. Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001 (desirable)
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
- Hospitality/travel or luxury sector experience is advantageous
- Proactive & autonomous work style
- Team player with cross-department collaboration
- High ethical judgment and integrity

- Regulatory compliance (GDPR, Decree 231/2001)
