Position
Nayak Aircraft Services is looking for a proactive and results-driven Deputy Head of Sales to join our growing team. In this role, you will combine strategic sales leadership with hands-on account management, driving business growth while supporting the Head of Sales in achieving departmental objectives. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, leading commercial negotiations, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will mentor and support the Sales team, contribute to sales strategy and market expansion initiatives, and collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
•Manage the full sales cycle: from quotations and contract proposal to follow‑ups and after‑sales support of major/key accounts.
•Conduct daily follow‑ups on open opportunities and ensure timely responses to RFPs/RFQs.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts.
•Develop and grow profitable accounts by understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions.
•Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM.
•Collaborate with internal teams to ensure pricing, service, and delivery meet customer expectations.
•Identify new sales opportunities through market research and outbound outreach.
•Stay informed on industry trends and customer purchasing patterns.
•Represent Nayak at trade shows/conferences and customer visits to strengthen relationships and uncover new business.
•Support the Head of Sales in developing and executing the overall sales strategy and activities.
•Act as second‑in‑command for the Sales Department, stepping in during absences and ensuring continuity of operations.
•Mentor, guide, and support Sales Account Managers to improve performance, customer engagement, and sales results.
•Lead coordination of complex or strategic customer negotiations, ensuring alignment with commercial and operational goals.
•Monitor and analyze sales performance data and drive process improvements within the group and sales department.
•Cooperate closely with key internal stakeholders (operations, finance, compliance etc.) to ensure cross‑department alignment on customer requirements.
•Participate in onboarding and training of new sales team members.
•Contribute to market expansion initiatives, including identifying emerging segments and assessing their commercial viability.
•Support compliance with internal policies and ensure high standards of professionalism and customer service across the sales team.

Qualifications & Experiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent industry experience.
•Previous experience as a Sales Account Manager or in a similar sales role, with a proven track record.
•Experience with complex customer negotiations and strategic account management.
•Fluent English required, additional languages are a plus.
•Familiarity with sales processes, tools, and related requirements.
