As we continue to expand in the Italy, we’re looking for an experienced MEP Lead with a strong mechanical or electrical background to join our first‑class team in Milan.
This is a unique chance to work on some of Europe’s most innovative data centre projects, supporting the delivery of complex mechanical and electrical systems that underpin mission‑critical operations.
You’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating MEP design, installation, testing and commissioning, ensuring quality, safety and performance standards are achieved throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all MEP activities on‑site.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of MEP packages.
Review technical designs, method statements and submittals to ensure compliance with client specifications and data centre standards.
Monitor progress, manage risks and drive issue resolution to maintain schedule and cost performance.
Oversee installation quality and ensure robust testing, commissioning and handover processes.
Act as the main MEP point of contact with the client, project management team and key stakeholders.
Foster a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to MiCiM and local HSE requirements.
About You
Strong mechanical or electrical engineering background with hands‑on experience in large‑scale MEP delivery.
Proven track record as an MEP Lead or Senior MEP Manager on data centres, high‑tech, pharmaceutical or other mission‑critical projects.
Excellent understanding of cooling technologies and mechanical systems typical of hyperscale or colocation data centres.
Able to manage complex interfaces between trades and drive performance in fast‑paced environments.
Strong communicator with the confidence to lead meetings, engage stakeholders and represent MiCiM professionally.
Willingness to work on‑site in the Nordics; previous international project experience is an advantage.
