ph3Optical Designers /h3 pOur Client is looking for Optical Designers to work in their Research and Development Department, which is actively involved in the field of optical communications for satellite applications, in partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Italian Space Agency (ASI).
The candidates will support the design, realisation and operation of a new test?facility aiming at assessing and certifying the interoperability of Optical Communication Terminal Payloads.

/p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and validate optical systems to assess performances of optical communication payloads /li liConduct test?campaigns following relevant standards /li /ul h3Qualifications and Experience /h3 ul liStrong passion for the development of new technologies /li liDegree in Engineering or Physics /li liExperience in Optical Systems Design and testing (telescopes and imaging systems) /li liPhD in relevant fields is appreciated, but not mandatory /li liProblem Solving attitude, autonomy and pro?activity /li liWillingness to learn new tools and methodologies /li /ul h3Eligibility /h3 pApplicants must hold all appropriate documentation and permits to work in the EU.
