We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team in Porto Corsini, supporting our production operations and driving continuous improvement.Role OverviewReporting directly to the Production Manager, you will oversee and optimize daily plant production, ensuring compliance with Bunge Italia's quality, safety, and environmental standards.
You will play a key role in improving performance, solving operational challenges, and supporting plant efficiency.In this role, you will coordinate daily activities across: 10 Crushing Operators, 3 Refinery & Crushing Operators and 5 Shift Leaders.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor daily production processes to ensure performance aligns with safety, quality, and operational standardsIdentify, analyze, and manage process deviations, coordinating corrective actions with Maintenance, Quality, Safety, and Production teamsSupervise and support maintenance interventions at the operational levelTrack, analyze, and improve department KPIs,
working closely with operators and shift leadersActively contribute to continuous improvement and plant optimization projectsDevelop, update, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)Train operators and shift supervisors on processes and proceduresManage inventory of consumables (e.G. chemicals), ensuring continuous production through effective stock control and reorderingMaintain accurate records of production losses and ensure data entry in SAPMake data?driven decisions to improve plant performance and align with Bunge's global strategyWhat We're Looking ForEducation & ExperienceDegree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similarExperience not required, but exposure to industrial or continuous production environments is a plusExperience in industrial xysqume plants, mechanical or port environments is beneficialTechnical SkillsGood knowledge of SAP (preferred)Strong command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.)Understanding of quality, safety, and environmental regulationsKnowledge of industrial equipment such as centrifugal and lobe pumps, motors and reducers, and centrifugal separatorsProficient in English and ItalianTraining in industrial mechanics and/or electrical systemsKnowledge of HACCP and workplace risk preventionCertifications related to industrial safety, quality, or environmental systems#J-*****-Ljbffr
