This is an excellent opportunity to start your career working on cutting-edge 5G and emerging 6G technologies, contributing to real-world implementations of 3GPP protocol stacks used in advanced wireless test and emulation platforms.You will work alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative, multi-site international environment, gaining hands-on experience in designing and developing high-performance protocol software.
/p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liContribute to the design, development, and testing of Layer 2 protocol stack components:MAC (Medium Access Control)RLC (Radio Link Control)PDCP (Packet Data Convergence Protocol) /li liSupport development of UE and base station (gNB)



emulation solutions /li liAnalyze and implement features from 3GPP LTE and 5G NR specifications /li liAssist in translating requirements into:ul liClean and maintainable code /li liTest cases and validation scenarios /li /ul /li liCollaborate with cross-functional teams (systems, RF, protocol, software) to:ul liInvestigate and debug protocol behavior /li liSupport issue analysis and resolution /li /ul /li liParticipate in continuous learning of evolving standards and technologies (5G Advanced, pre-6G) /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liMSc or PhD in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field /li liStrong theoretical knowledge of wireless communications and 3GPP LTE / 5G NR /li liUnderstanding of Layer 2 protocols (MAC, RLC, PDCP) from coursework, thesis, or research /li liProgramming skills in C or C++ /li liBasic knowledge of:ul liMultithreading or concurrent programming /li liSoftware development practices and debugging /li /ul /li liAnalytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills /li liGood communication skills in English /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liHands?on experience (academic projects, internship, or thesis)
