/ppbr/ppbThe Role: /b /ppbCumming Group /b are looking to recruit a bCost Manager / Quantity Surveyor /b(or experienced Computista / Preventivista) to join our team in the Milan office.
You will support the commercial delivery of complex, high-value data centre projects throughout Italy and Europe.
You will contribute to the commercial performance of major mission-critical developments from feasibility and procurement through construction, commissioning and close-out.
/ppbr/ppWorking closely with clients, project teams and senior stakeholders, you will play an important role in driving cost certainty, mitigating risk, and ensuring successful project outcomes.

/ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities: /b /pulliDeliver commercial and cost management services across multiple large-scale data centre projects.
/liliSupport the development and implementation of commercial strategies that support successful project delivery and client objectives.
/liliProvide cost planning, benchmarking,
budgeting and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
/liliAdvise clients on procurement strategy, contract selection and risk allocation.
/liliManage tender processes, tender analysis and contract award recommendations.
/liliSupport negotiations and administration of contracts, including NEC and JCT forms where applicable.
/liliManage variations, change control processes, claims and commercial matters.
/liliReview project financial performance, forecasts, cash flow and commercial reporting across multiple commissions.
/liliDrive value engineering initiatives and cost optimisation strategies while maintaining project quality and performance standards.
/liliSupport commercial governance and assurance across project portfolios.
/liliBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.
/liliSupport business development activities, client pursuits and proposal preparation.
/liliSupport and mentor junior team members where appropriate.
/liliSupport regional leadership with commercial reporting, resource planning and operational performance management.
/li /ulpbr/pullibQualifications: /b /lilibEducation: /b Degree in Quantity Surveying,
Cost Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
/lilibExperience: /b 3-5+ years of experience in cost consultancy, commercial management, or quantity surveying, with exposure to large-scale construction projects.
/lilibProfessional Accreditation: /b MRICS, AssocRICS, or working towards chartered status preferred.
/liliExperience supporting complex commercial programmes and multi-disciplinary project teams.
/liliGood understanding of NEC, JCT and other standard forms of construction contract.
/liliExperience delivering data centre, mission-critical, industrial, infrastructure or similarly complex projects.
/liliStrong knowledge of commercial risk management, procurement strategies and construction project delivery.
/liliExperience managing multiple projects and client stakeholders simultaneously /liliStrong commercial acumen with the ability to provide advice and support to clients and project teams.
