Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Specialist role based in Rome.
The Business Development Specialist will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, and support the development of strategic growth initiatives.
Daily tasks include conducting market research, generating and qualifying leads, preparing presentations and proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to align offerings with client needs.
The role also involves tracking sales activities, maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, and providing regular updates and reports to management.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and experience with Market Research to interpret data, identify trends, and support strategic decisions.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication abilities to engage clients, present proposals clearly, and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
Candidates should possess solid Lead Generation skills and familiarity with business development or sales processes to build and manage a pipeline of prospects.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to ensure a positive client experience and support long-term relationships.
Candidates should ideally have prior experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in a B2B environment.
Candidates should have proficiency with CRM systems and standard office software, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Candidates should hold a relevant degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience.
Candidates should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset; fluency in English and Italian is highly beneficial.
