eCommerce Assistant (Intern)

Who we’re looking for
We are looking for an eCommerce Assistant to join Fortela’s eCommerce team as an intern. This is a hands-on, learning-focused role, also well suited to recent graduates, working alongside the eCommerce Manager and together with the Merchandiser on the day-to-day running of the online store and marketplaces.
Key responsibilities
•Â Â Â Â Support the day-to-day operations of the Fortela online store and marketplace presence.
•Â Â Â Â Publish new products on the site in line with the launch calendar, uploading and maintaining product pages and digital content according to the editorial and commercial calendar.
•Â Â Â Â Support the Merchandiser in maintaining and optimising online product merchandising.
•Â Â Â Â Help deliver the weekly editorial and commercial calendar across the site and marketplaces, including campaigns, events and promotions.
•Â Â Â Â Provide operational support on order management and fulfilment, tracking order status together with Logistics and Customer Care.
•Â Â Â Â Support Customer Care in handling customer requests and identifying key customer pain points.
•Â Â Â Â Gather and prepare sales data and KPIs for weekly and monthly reporting.
•Â Â Â Â Flag site bugs or issues to the team so they can be passed on to the developers.
Requirements
•Â Â Â Â Degree (recent graduates welcome) in business, marketing, communications, fashion or a related field.
•Â Â Â Â Interest in digital, eCommerce and the fashion industry.
•Â Â Â Â Accuracy, attention to detail and good organisational skills.
•Â Â Â Â Basic familiarity with digital tools; knowledge of eCommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify) or Google Analytics is a plus.
•Â Â Â Â Team player, eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Internship type
The internship can be either curricular (as part of a university programme) or extracurricular. For extracurricular internships: standard monthly allowance as per local regulations.
