Position
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated QC Inspector – Footwear to join our dedicated Quality Department located in Asolo, Italy . In this position, you will not only take on a pivotal role in ensuring that our products are compliant with our high quality standards, but you will also advise on potential solutions for production related issues.
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborating closely with the Industrialisation and R&D; teams, you will inspect and ensure that Production samples are compliant with the agreed technical specifications and Pre-Production samples in terms of materials, colours, construction, fit, branding as well as overall quality standards and technical specifications.
- You will carry out detailed on-site inspections on production samples, utilising measurement instruments to either approve them or reject them (focusing on workmanship including stitching, assembly, bonding, finishing and the overall product appearance).
- Moreover, you will also responsible for inspecting our packaging solutions, making sure that it properly protects our products, meets retail presentation standards and corresponds to the brand’s requirements.
- Most importantly,
you will investigate root causes and propose alternative corrective actions to be implemented, so to make sure production is compliant with company standards, customer requirements and regulatory guidelines.
- You will work closely with vendors and our internal teams, so to resolve any product and / or packaging issues in a timely manner.
- You will also track sample approvals, rejections, customer feedback (when necessary) as well as follow-up actions with vendors.
- You will identify and promptly communicate to the relevant teams any quality or packaging issues that could impact productions and / or delivery schedules.
- You will also be responsible for maintaining an organised record of samples, inspections, approvals, packaging and quality related documentation.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Quality Control and / or Pattern Making specifically within the Performance Footwear and Sporting Goods sectors.
- Solid expertise in Quality Control procedures and previous experience in conducting on-site sample inspections.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to detect product defects and to propose effective and actionable solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English – Please note this is a fully English-speaking working environment.
- Proficiency in using Excel and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with reports writing (in English) and documentation processes.
- Willingness to travel extensively (75% of the time) at global level.
- Proactive and collaborative approach with a strong team spirit.
- Passion for Motorsports sector will be considered a strong plus.

Compensation Package – From €45,000 (Depending on experience)
